Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Malakand conducts annual and supplementary exams for the classes of matric and intermediate classes for regular students of affiliated schools and colleges and also for private students of the area which include the districts of Malakand, Buner, Chitral, Lower Dir, Upper Dir and Shangla.

The roll number slips of written exams of 9th and 10th class are issued by BISE Malakand in February while the written exams are held in March and April. The roll number slips of matric supplementary exams are issued after the result announcement of martic exams and the supplementary exams are organized few days after the issuance of roll number slips. The roll number slips of regular candidates are sent in their respective institute while roll number slips of private candidates are sent to their personal addresses.

Malakand Board issues roll number slips for the students of 11th and 12th class annual exams in April while the exams are held in the months of May and June. Later, the roll number slips of supplementary exams of intermediate are issued after result announcement of HSSC annual exams. The roll number slips of SSC and HSSC exams are also issued separately from written exams.
